About Us

Finding Inspiration & Care in Every Turn

From the clinic to the coffin, the people are dying, not because we don’t care, but because the system doesn’t care enough about them. Bias in healthcare isn’t a secret. It’s baked into the bones of this country. From pain being brushed off as exaggeration, to Black mothers losing their lives and babies at rates higher than anywhere else in the so-called developed world, to the quiet suffering of our elders who can’t afford their prescriptions, this is the reality we’re living.

Since the pandemic, we’ve seen more death, more neglect, more dismissal, and less accountability. From the doctor’s office to the morgue, the story stays the same: our complaints ignored, our bodies disrespected, our worth discounted. And now, with the political climate leaning harder toward greed and disregard, with Republicans slashing care and insurance costs rising higher than blood pressure — we are left to fend for ourselves again.

But here’s the thing: we don’t have to wait for them to save us. We can save ourselves. We can build our own clinics, our own hospitals, our own systems of care  run by us, for us. And I’m calling on you — every listener, every survivor, every healthcare worker who’s fed up to join this movement. Donate, share, and be part of creating Black-owned, community-rooted healthcare that actually heals.

Doctor and Patient

Our Story

From the clinic to the coffin, our people are dying, not because we don’t care, but because the system doesn’t care enough about us. Bias in healthcare isn’t a secret.

From the doctor’s office to the coffin, the story stays the same: the complaints are ignored, the bodies disrespected, the worth is discounted.

Thus, with the political climate leaning harder toward greed and disregard, with slashing care and insurance costs rising higher than blood pressure, people are left to fend for themselves again.

But here’s the thing: we don’t have to wait for anyone to save us. We can save ourselves. We can build our own clinics, our own hospitals, our own systems of care run by us, for us.

I’m calling every listener, every survivor, every healthcare worker who’s fed up to join this movement. Donate, share, and help create a caring and community-rooted in healthcare that actually heals.
